COASTAL CLEANUP MOVEMENT
Coastal & Underwater Cleanup Initiative
Our team leads regular cleanup actions across beaches, rivers, and underwater sites, working closely with fishing communities, youth groups, and local dive guides. Many of the debris we collect are not from Tulamben alone, ocean currents bring waste from distant regions, threatening the marine protected area we safeguard.
Ensuring consistent and scheduled cleanups to maintain a healthy, debris-free ecosystem.
To keep this ecosystem free from waste accumulation, especially plastics, we must consistently monitor, clean, and restore the zone. But key operational challenges limit our impact: we lack proper transport to reach remote sites and do not have enough diving equipment for safe underwater cleanup work.
Your contribution directly enables us to deploy teams more efficiently, expand our underwater cleanup coverage, and protect one of Bali’s most important marine habitats.
