GRANT RECEIVED
Dana CSR (Corporate Social Responsibility) by ​PELINDO
Pelindo Grant support MERO local and development program that invites the people of Tulamben to take part in turning plastic waste into opportunity. Through hands-on workshops, environmental education, community clean-ups, and local partnerships, selected plastic waste is transformed into useful products, creating real impact for both the environment and the community.
International Coastal Cleanup (ICC)
- Ocean Conservancy, USA
With support from the ICC Grant, we implement a community-based plastic waste reduction program in Tulamben through environmental education, capacity-building workshops, coastal clean-up actions, and collaboration with schools, villages, and local stakeholders. This program aims to raise awareness, strengthen community participation, and reduce plastic pollution in coastal and marine environments.
MOU & INSTITUTIONAL PARTNERSHIP

Institut Teknologi Bandung (ITB)
On Tuesday, 4 November 2025, FITB ITB officially signed a Cooperation Agreement with MERO Foundation. This partnership strengthens our shared mission in education, research, and community outreach.

With support from academic leaders and MERO’s advisory team, this collaboration marks an exciting step toward impactful marine-science programs, building awareness, advancing research, and protecting Indonesia’s marine ecosystems together.
Politeknik Kesehatan Kementerian Kesehatan (Poltekkes Kemenkes) Denpasar
In December 2023, Lecturers from the Major of Medical Laboratory Technology of Poltekkes Kemenkes Denpasar visited MERO to sign an MOU on education and research collaboration.
We are very grateful to have been trusted as partners. In the future, we look forward to research to provide deeper knowledge, especially about marine microbiology to the students at Poltekkes Kemenkes Denpasar.
