Research Projects
Since opening, MERO Foundation has assisted and supported numerous research programs. Some of our most notable projects and achievements to date include the following: - Assisting students from the University of Brawijaya in Malang with their thesis - Assisting students from Hasanuddin University in Makassar with their thesis - PKL participant returning to MERO Foundation for thesis research - Students from Ganesha University of Education accepted for the PKL program - Students from Udayana University accepted for MBKM internships - Student from Diponegoro University accepted for an internship - Students from Gajah Muda University assisted in thesis research - Students from Sriwijaya University accepted for an internship - SEM Analysis by the College of Pharmacy (STIFAR) in Semarang - Students from Udayana University accepted for internships - PPKI Study project by Dr. Aninditia Sabdaningsih - Nudibranch Surveys - Numerous students from Brawijaya University accepted for internships - The Potential of Marine Invertebrate Microbes as Agents in the Prevention of Multidrug-resistant Diseases - Bacterial Symbionts of Nudibranch


Community Projects
At MERO Foundation, community is extremely important to us. We aim to support our local communities and the environment to improve standards of living, increase environmental awareness, and to enhance educational and economic opportunities. Some of our diverse range of outreach projects to date have included: - Regular river & Beach Cleanups - Underwater cleanups - Sunday classes for local children - Plastic waste exchanges - Coastal cleaningups - Educational workshops for local dive guides - Raising awareness of marine conservation in local schools through educational presentations
