(2025-2026)
MERO Foundation is delighted to announce early-career scholarship opportunities for Indonesian graduates!
Four fully funded positions are available, offering a 6-month hands-on work and professional development experience with MERO Foundation in Bali.
Development skills
Successful applicants will be deeply involved in the following skills and fields:

Community Outreach and Local Development (2 positions)

Marine-Based Food Technology (1 position)
-
Taxonomy Studies Using Microscopy and Scanning Electron Microscope (SEM) (1 position)
Benefit
During the scholarship, awardees will have the opportunity to enhance their skills and knowledge in various fields of marine education and research, including laboratory work in taxonomy, marine-based food technology projects, and community development programs.
At the end of the program, outstanding awardees may be offered a two-year salaried position at MERO Foundation. Awardees must be willing to commit to this contract before applying.
Criteria

Applicants must hold at least a Bachelor’s degree (S1) in a relevant field.

Community Outreach & Local Development: Graduates from Communication Studies, Social Studies, Education, Law, or related fields.

Marine-Based Food Technology: Preferably have prior research experience in packaging or product development, and hold a degree in Food Technology, Fisheries Product Technology, Chemistry, or Chemical Engineering, or other closely related fields.

Must have good English proficiency (spoken and written).

Able to handle multiple tasks and show a strong work ethic.
